Te Whatu Ora Library (draft prototype)

About the Library

During the period Jan 2024 - June 2025 the Te Whatu Ora Library and Knowledge Service will be developing a single national digital library portal for access to our knowledge resources for all staff of Te Whatu Ora and our partners in primary and community care.  However this process is complex and will take time to renegotiate all current licenses and contracts , identify funding to support whole of organisational access to core resources, and work with our Data and Digital and Procurement partners to implement a new virtual library platform.  In the interim the resources identified on this page are accessible and you may also use the links  on this page to request documents, literature searches and tutorials.  The following District Libraries can provide access to their collections remotely if you have identified them as your local or home District. Contact the librarian associated with your 'home' District to find out how you can access the full range of databases, journals and books subscribed to by your 'local' Te Whatu Ora Library at the following Districts:

Counties Manukau
Waitemata
Waikato

*Please note that Te Whatu Ora staff who are not 'national' appointments will continue to use their onsite local libraries and to access their digital library resources via their local intranet.
